RHS Family Association

We encourage the participation of all parents in the life of the school and the education of their children. Great schools have strong connections with their communities and RHS Family helps to make this happen.

Comprising parents and carers who are keen to contribute to the wellbeing of the school community, RHS Family aims to:

  • encourage the participation of all parents in the life of the school and the education of their children
  • provide opportunities for parents to get to know each other and to be informed about their child’s school
  • provide opportunities for parents to extend their understanding of school operations, and general education policy
  • contribute to proposals on school policy and other educational issues (as identified or discussed with the Principal or School Council)

RHS Family achieves these aims by organising activities that bring parents and the wider community into our school.

 

Becoming a Member

Membership of RHS Family is open to any parent or guardian of a child attending RHS.

To become a member, you need to attend a meeting – held approximately monthly through the school year – and complete a membership application form.

RHS Family upholds the following values:

Second Hand Uniform Website

The RHS Family have made available an option to buy & sell second hand uniform.  This is a rolling shop, so every time a new donation is received it will be uploaded on to the site. Keep checking regularly if you miss out on what you wanted the first time.  Click on the button below to access the website.

RHS Family Second Hand Store

The second hand uniform shop is used as a fundraiser for the school.  If you would like to sell items through the shop, please print the form below, fill in your details and send it along to the school with your items to be sold.  The school will take 33% commission.  Proceeds of sales retained by RHS Family will go towards improving the school facilities, programs and grounds for the students.
